Locums - CT Surgeon opportunity in western Maryland

Locums - A well renowned health system is seeking a CT Surgeon to assist with 12-hour and/or 24-hour call coverage near Frostburg, Maryland. 

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Cardiac or both Cardiac/Thoracic
• Start ASAP for ongoing need
• Current coverage needed for December 2026 with ongoing needs into 2027 for long weekends Thu-Sun or Fri-Sun
• Required procedures include bypass surgery; cases include open heart, carotid, and possibly lung
• Approx 1-3 admissions per call shift
• Onsite not needed after rounding, provider needs to maintain 30 min response time if called back
• 100% adult patient population
• EMR Meditech
• Active MD license or IMLC, DEA, recent case logs 
• Starting rate of $3,500 per 24-hour shift dependent upon experience, mileage, lodging, malpractice provided
