CT surgery PA opportunity available in northern Boston, MA area

Great opportunity for an experienced CT surgery PA to join a Thoracic and Cardiovascular Surgery team in the northern suburbs of Boston, MA. 

• Board Certified Physician Assistant (PA)
• Must have a minimum of 2 yrs exp as a PA in the field of Cardiothoracic Surgery
• Rotating days/nights/weekends
• When in the OR the shifts are 10 hours - when covering the other shifts they are 13 hours
• OR on call pay and call back pay
• Duties include surgical first assist with both Cardiac and Thoracic surgical procedures, EVH, Endoscopic and Open Radial Artery Harvest, Robotic Thoracic Surgery, Pre and Post-Op, be proficient with placement and removal of chest tubes, central and arterial lines, temp epicardial pacing wires, Swan-Ganz cath, intra-aortic balloon pumps, sutures, and staples
